Created in 2006 by Katie Boyd and Tania Rickards, The Cassette Society has its roots in dance. Evolving into collections largely inspired by music, it is a seemingly 1980s label. “Because we are all eighties gals at heart” claims Boyd.
Pieces are expressive and created to allow girls to portray whatever mood is desired, whether sexy or quirky. Femininity is added through the use of silks and lightweight cotton fabrics. Boyd and Rickards believe it is their job “to make girls look awesome.” The Cassette Society is stocked worldwide.
