Returns & Exchanges

Zip Me Up offers refunds and exchanges on all full priced garments items unless otherwise stated, you may return any full priced purchased items so long as the items are in new and unused conditions, with all tags attached to the item and in original condition.

No returns or exchanges accepted on all accessories.

We will not accept items without their tags at all. When you have received your item, please try it on as soon as possible.

You must let us know your intention to either return or exchange the full priced item(s) within 7 days of receipt, by emailing us at customercare@zipmeup.co.nz.

Please remember to state your order number. Our returns team will then email you back with a full set of instructions on how to send your items back to us. Items must be returned with the returns & exchanges form completed.

Zip Me Up does not sell used products. If your item shows any evidence of wear, damage or strong smells it will be returned to you and your refund voided. 

All undamaged, correctly returned products will be credited to the purchase’s credit card within 14 days. We will notify you once the refund has been made.  

FOR ALL COUNTRIES - You will need to pay the return postage charges, ALTHOUGH if an exchange we will have the new item delivered free of additional charge.


All merchandise that is correctly returned in accordance with the details contained within this page will be credited to the purchaser’s Zip Me Up account or credit card, with the exception of:

1.Orders returned without a Return Authorization form attached.

  1. Layby items, which cannot be returned.
  2. Sale items, which may only be returned for a store credit.
  3. Special Offers, which will only accepted back for a store credit or exchange for a different size.
  4. Final Sale items, which cannot be returned. 


A return will be considered a late return if you contact us more than 7 days after receipt of your item. Late returns will be accepted at the discretion of Zip Me Up and only for a store credit.


Sale items may only be returned for a credit voucher.   


Exchanges will only be made for a different size of the same item you are returning.  Please make it clear which size you wish to exchange your purchase for when you request your Return Number. If you wish to exchange your purchase for a different product, we recommend you return your purchase for a store credit and then make a separate purchase for the new item. 


Any items marked FINAL SALE are unable to be returned to Zip Me Up for change of mind. Final Sale items are clearly marked on Product Descriptions. 


If you find a gift you have received is unsuitable, you may return it and receive a credit to your Zip Me Up account.  


Credit notes are valid for two months after issue. We reserve the right to deem any outstanding credit values null and void after the expiration date. Items purchased with store credit are deemed as Final Sale. Credit Notes are not valid for existing pre-orders.


  • Items on pre-order need to be purchased in the normal way however will only
  • be delivered when they arrive from the manufacturer. 


Items that are considered faulty are those that are received in a damaged condition.  Wear and tear to a product is not a sign that the item is faulty. Please note that faulty products can only be exchanged for the same product in the same size.  Where possible, faulty goods will be repaired before they are replaced.
